Using our Interactive Track Mapping tools, we've produced a gorgeous online mapping solution for the Australian Grand Prix.
By combining our VR Photography with the GP's aerial photography, adding Race Track, Grandstand & Corporate Box data layered over Google Maps, we've create an interactive tool for use on the GP website.
The Interactive Track Map doesn't replace the PDF downloadable map, but it gives viewers a far better idea of what the event is like, while keeping them on the website.
Additionally the individual virtual tours are used in sales & marketing on the site to show grandstand seating & corporate boxes.

Working closely with Panedia in developing a custom interactive map was a great success in addition to capturing the views and atmosphere of every grandstand and corporate facility. The introduction of virtual tours and maps has been well received by patrons who are now able to see the vantage points from around the circuit.

For the Nikon SuperGP (and Nikon Indy 300 before that) we created an interactive track map using our unique georeferenced virtual tours & google's maps adding a huge amount of additional information layered over the top. Included were all the items a typical event visitor could need to find, from Entry Gates to Food Vendors & Merchandise to Overpasses.
SuperGP also used the virtual tours individually on their grandstand ticketing & corporate hospitality pages to give buyers a small taste of what they'll experience on track.

Our P3 (Panedia Panoramic Platform) system can be exceedingly fast to shoot & post process content when required. For the 2009 SuperGP we produced virtual tours for use on various sites during the actual event. The following virtual tour was posted on the Saturday of the 4 day event.
